Chris Thayer is a stand-up comic and writer. He has appeared in the films The Civil Dead (2022) and Teenage Badass (2020), as well as on CBS’ After Midnight, Comedy Central, VICELAND, and TBS. He’s written for Comedy Central’s CC: Studios, Funny or Die, TBS, and JASH.

He performs regularly–both in the US and abroad–and has appeared in numerous comedy festivals, such as SF Sketchfest and Bridgetown Comedy Festival. In addition to having embarked on thousands of miles of self-booked tours, he’s gone on the road extensively with Pete Holmes, as well as having worked with Patton Oswalt, Maria Bamford, Hannibal Buress, Tig Notaro, Thee Oh Sees, Kyle Kinane, Michael Ian Black, Demetri Martin, Rory Scovel, Nick Thune, Greg Fitzsimmons, and many others.
